Thanks for visiting JoshBidwell.com I want to thank all my family, friends, and fans for their support over my football career. Aside from being blessed enough to spend 5 years at the University of Oregon and 12 years in the NFL, it is very hard to believe that the game I have been playing since I was in 5th grade is now over. My time with the Green Bay Packers at the beginning of my career was extremely special to my wife and I. Missing my first season with the Packers after being diagnosed with advanced Testicular Cancer was an experience I thank God for. It brought me into a closer relationship with Him and worked a strength and resolve in me I did not know was there. The next 4 seasons with Green Bay were seasons that will remain with me forever. Playing with a legend in Brett Favre and all the other remarkable players that were on the team in those days was a blessing. My next several years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers would end up being the highlight of my NFL life both on and off of the field. My career blossomed as I was able to set most every team record in their 35 year history and was named an All-Pro in 2006 playing in my first and only Pro Bowl game. Not only was that the place my career changed for the better, but my life was altered in amazing ways as well. My first son was born at the tail end of that memorable 2005 season, and a short 14 months later my second son would born a little Buccaneer as well. Just when I thought I knew it all, 2 1/2 years later, my daughter would be born. Seeing my career blossom as well as my family, all under the Buccaneer banner is special and something I will always be very proud of! I have been proud to have represented myself, my family and friends, and my communities with the quality character and integrity that has defined me as a person my entire life. Thank you all for your support over the years! My family and I are truly grateful!  New Chapter Now that my NFL career has come to an end, I find myself in a new chapter in my life. I have joined up with a very close friend of mine’s mortgage company, OMT Mortgage in Eugene Oregon. After hours of classes and a few State and Federal exams I have become a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer. My duties include: Originating ALL loans that are residential in nature. (1st, 2nd, investments, etc.) Refinancing current mortgages for single family home owners and investors. Working with the more than 25 banks we work with to find the best rates and products to fit my clients needs.
